Pastor Al will bring us invaluable lessons that will draw us closer to understanding and trusting our God and Heavenly Father.       

Lesson 1: He is unchangeable.

Ametathetos: Greek, means something that cannot be changed or altered.  Heb. 6:17-20

Lesson 2: He is undeniable.

Definition: something plainly true or incontestable, not to be contradicted.

John 1:14NKJV

Lesson 3: He is Unshakeable.

Definition: something so strong that it cannot be destroyed or altered. to be immoveable and steady.

Psalm 16:8-9NKJV

Lesson 4: He is unstoppable.

Definition: Impossible to stop or prevent. Incapable of being stopped.

Lesson 1

A quiet confidence--Gen. 22:1-3 NKJV

Now it came to pass after these things that God tested Abraham, and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am"....

Seeking and listening to God for direction, for protection, and for provision.

We have times of trials, tests, and turmoil just as King Jehoshaphat during his reign in Judah. His decision to have his people fast and pray before the Lord God, was his defense against his enemies.

Can we identify with King Jehoshaphat and say this is our solution to our problems? Think about it. It may be time to change our path to defend against our troubles.

Phil. 2:1-11  "Christlike Humility"

Allowing humility to exercise in our lives doesn't mean we are doormats to be stepped on, disregarded, or discarded. Humility is we can freely allow the Holy Spirit of God to control our lives in those moments when our flesh seeks to become predominant. In situations tailor-made for God to be exalted and glorified. It is a constant of battle of wills...

Biblical humility is a heart attitude of "lowliness of mind" or meekness, rather than just an outward demeanor placing God first and others before oneself. It is exemplified by Jesus' self-sacrifice.

II Cor. 5:17-22  "Moving Forward"

Join us on Wednesday at 6:30pm in-person or on Zoom. We hope to see you there.

"Moving Forward" signifies making progress, advancing, or looking to the future. Often while overcoming past obstacles or leaving a difficult situation behind us. It is frequently used to mean starting from now !!acting proactively to improve a situation or continue with plans.

Editorial comment: we all need this at one point or maybe more than one time as God brings us closer to Him. 

Rom. 8: 1-13NKJV

Purpose:  To assure believers of our freedom (A Clean Slate) from condemnation in Christ Jesus and to empower us to live a holy life through the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost), rather succumbing to deeds and urges of our fleshly nature. 

Condemnation--an adverse sentence or verdict; to render someone's wickedness more evident and reprehensible.

A clean slate gives us the opportunity to choose spiritual freedom in Christ Jesus rather than bondage in sin.

Ps. 61:2 "From the end of the earth I will call to You, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I." NKJV

As we travail through every day. We question; we fear; we doubt. It is time to put all those human emotions under the control of God's Holy Spirit. 

Come and see how a closer time with the Triune God will build the solid foundation that nothing erodes.

We have received teachings on humility, prayer, and the power that comes from our Heavenly Father.  

It is time to climb up and see what is waiting for us on top of the Rock of our salvation.

Starting with "Parenting and raising children in the Faith". Linda stirs our thoughts and lifestyle for teaching and leading our children to walk in Faith as Jesus instructed His listeners. Prov. 22:6 sets the cornerstone for our foundation. As children grow, they must learn to use critical thinking skills through biblical principles. Isa. 1:18. 

Then Kim will take us into steps to "Win" our children to the right foundation for themselves. We will see examples on how important our testimony is after we receive Jesus as our Savior. Our example is our testimony to our children. 

Thoughtful and thought-provoking, a great combination for starting a new school year in our homes. 

Romans 12:6-8 " Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 8he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. "

Studying the Bible is our opportunity to find God, before we apply ourselves within it. What character of God does the Word reveal of Himself in every passage of the Scripture?
